The controversial case of Uzma Khan is known to all woke and snowflake Pakistanis who are always looking for gossips and share stories on Instagram. The model was harassed and tortured by the daughter of business tycoon Malik Riaz, Amna Malik, due to which she filed FIR against the daughter, her husband Usman Malik, her sisters, and 15 security personnel. However, she took her to complain and FIR back because of Malik Riaz.
According to reports, the owner and founder of Bahria Town filed a complaint against the model and her sister, Huma Khan, and wrote that the sisters misused his name; therefore, they should pay him Rs 5 billion for defaming him and maligning his name. Hua Khan wrote on social media that the sisters are taking the case back because the court would fail them, but they will be succeeded in Allah’s court system.
Therefore, Uzma and Huma recorded their statements under Section 164 of CrPC that Mrs. Amna Malik did not torture them, and they filed the complaint against them due to misunderstanding; therefore, they are taking their complaint back. Unfortunately, the lawyers and counselors of the Huma and Uzma, Barrister Hassaan Niazi and Khadija Siddiqui, disassociated themselves from the case and expressed their sadness on internet that they are forced to disassociate due to rule of capitalism in the country.
The defamation suit was filed by Advocate Azhar Siddique, lawyer of tycoon, against Barrister Hassaan Niazi- lawyer of Uzma Khan, and asked him to pay Rs 5 bn for defaming Amna Malik’s father in the wrong way. Malik Riaz tweeted that he was not involved in the case, and still, his name was being used. He said that his complaint is legal, and he has the right to file complaints against people who use his name.
However, the product of Malik Riaz- the Supreme Court, granted bail to ladies of the house of tycoon and asked them to pay surety bonds of Rs 50,000 to each lady. The complaint was filed against Pashmina Malik, Amna Malik, and Ambar Malik beside personnel.
Although the case has been resolved with the so-called mutual agreement between three parties, showbiz celebrities are commenting on the news and step taken by the model. Many of them are criticizing the justice system of the country while some are criticizing actress for taking the case back.
