Last year, in 2015 Atif Aslam’s song ‘Jeena Jeena’ which he sung in the film ‘Badalapur’ enthralled the audience. And as always he was appreciated whole heartedly by the critics and even got popular among masses. This love-romantic track was one of the finest composition, which compelled the audience to lend their more support to the Pakistan-India ideal singer Atif Aslam.
It won’t be wrong to Atif call a singer of Pak-Ind, as he has massive number of followers in India and have sung numerous songs for the Indian films since his Bollywood debut back in 2006 when he lent his voice for the song ‘Who Lamhe’ in film 2006.
As mentioned above, the current nomination of Atif recounts his shortlist for this award for the 4th time. As he first made his place with his B-town debut song ‘Woh Lame’ but couldn’t make it.
The part time actor got his last ‘Playback Singer of the Year’ nomination for Filmfare back in 2010, for his ‘Tu Jane Na’ in film ‘Ajab Prem Ke Ghazab Khani’. But still this was unfruitful for him, as Mohit Chohan bagged the award.
