Clearing History from YouTube App
Delete individual searches
You can delete individual searches from your search history when you’re signed in with your account by following these steps:
- Tap the search icon.
- Tap and hold a suggested search result with the history icon next to it.
- Tap Removeon the pop-up asking if you want to remove this entry from your search history.
Clear your entire search history
To clear search history in your account, go to Menu > Settings > Privacy and tap Clear search history.
Pause search history
To Pause search history for your account, go to Menu > Settings > “Privacy” and toggle Pause search history.
Clearing YouTube History from Mobile Sites
If you are accessing websites directly from the browser of your mobile then here is the process to delete the history
Delete individual searches
You can delete individual search entries from your search history when you’re signed in with your account by following these steps:
- Go to Account > History > Search history
- Select the menu to the right of the search query and choose Remove from Search history.
Clear search history
To clear search history in your account, go to Account > History > Search history and tap Clear all.
Pause search history
To Pause search history for your account, go to Account > History > Search history and tap Pause
