Senate of Pakistan has announced one year paid internship program for the year 2018. For those who are interested in working at the Upper House of the Parliament and wanna gain some hands-on experience of the now legislative house of Pakistan work are at this moment welcomed to apply for the internship program at the Senate of Pakistan.
Senate of Pakistan being the highest legislative institute in the country is offering one year paid internship to Islamabad based candidates with 16 years education from Islamabad based universities only. With the launch of these internship programs Senate of Pakistan aims to enhance social responsibility and parliamentary education in the country.
Eligibility Criteria
Students who have completed 16 years of education from HEC accredited Islamabad based Universities, with 3.0 CGPA in semester system or 60% marks in annual system.
Preferred Disciplines for internship
Law, Political Science, Public/ Business Administration, International Relations, Economics/ Finance, Computer Science/IT, Media, Social Sciences and English/ Linguistics.
Age
22-30 years
Stipend
Rs. 15,000 – 25,000 per month all inclusive. Amount of stipend will be finalized before the start of the internship. Students will have to arrange for their boarding/ lodging and transport on their own.

Important Instructions
(i) Current students are not eligible to apply.
(ii) Only the candidates who have completed 16 years of education from Islamabad based Universities are eligible to apply. After receipt of the applications, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at Islamabad.
(iii) No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
(iv) Women are especially encouraged to apply.
(v) All applications for internship shall reach the undersigned on or before 20th May 2018.
(vi) Candidates are advised to apply on the prescribed proforma, available with the link of this advertisement.
(vii) The internship application will be supported by a certificate signed and stamped by Registrar of the last University attended mentioning that the candidate had remained a bonafide student and is currently not enrolled in an academic program.
(viii) Incomplete applications and late submissions shall not be considered.
(ix) The internship will be governed by the terms and conditions as advertised by the Senate of Pakistan.
