After joining hands in the war of terror the country got inflicted with heavy loses. It paid the price of something that it was never a part of. It suffered heavy losses in terms of men and material. The impact was not just confined to the country but the overall impression of the country and its people outside was that the people are into the terrorist. Some events in the country like the attack on the Sri Lankan players compelled the international decision makers to rethink about the transportation to Pakistan. In the wake of this event, major European countries stopped their flights from coming to Pakistan.
In the past, Pakistan was considered as an unsafe country by everyone but now after much effort by the Pakistani people, they have been proven wrong. Pakistan did not receive any flights from the European countries. Now we’ve received the good news that many European countries are interested to start flight operations with Pakistan. They started to show their interest when the British airlines restarted their flights with Pakistan. The countries which are interested to start their flight operations with Pakistan include Germany, France, and Norway. Some rumors were spread that security checks were being made at the Karachi airports by the European security officials.
According to the news Pakistani government has been contacted by all three airlines. After hearing to this news turkey and Azerbaijan are also excited about this idea of using Pakistan’s airport. After almost ten years now on 3rd of June British Airways’ first flight reached on Islamabad international airport from Heathrow airport. This has become an encouraging trend for France, Germany and Norway to start with their flights. No doubt this is a moment of rejoicing for the country and its people who are waiting for good days for a long time.
