Khuda Aur Muhabbat is one of the most favorite dramas of local Pakistanis and international Pakistanis as well. Eight years has been passed, but fans and VMs are still made on Imran Abbas and Sadia Khan.
Two seasons were made up till now. In both seasons, there was the same couple. However, in the last season, the story was continued after the death of Sadia and character of Sarah, Kubra Khan was introduced to whom the main character met in abroad. The first season was aired in 2011 and second in 2017.
Although two seasons were made, the third season is going to air in October. The month is not confirmed but the airing of drama is confirmed. Yet, the cast will not be the same. This time, Feroze Khan and Iqra Aziz will play lead roles, according to pictures the actors shared on social media, Instagram. The future-bride was wearing burqa and Feroze Khan was in Kurta Shalwar.
The production team and direction will be different of the third season. the director will be Wajahat Hussain and the producer is not decided. It can be either Baber Javed or Abdullah Kadwani. There are more chances of Abdullah Kadwani because he is now head of Geo TV.
Khuda Aur Muhabbat is turned into the franchise now. The drama series is based on the novel, Khuda Aur Muhabbat. It was written by Hashim Nadeem. Later Badar Ikram tuned into the script for the first season which was directed by Anjum Shahzad and second season by Syed Ali Raza Usama. Now the responsibility has been taken by Babar Javed who planned to pair Imran Abbas with Ehd-e-Wafa’s doctor, Neha Rajpoot.
The drama, although, is far to air, what is alarming that if this new couple can get the same attention or will they be able to grab that attention which Imran and Sadia grabbed with their eye-gluing on-screen chemistry and dialogue delivery.
Feroze Khan and Iqra Aziz are flawless actors. Feroze’s Khaani is one of the most-watched dramas. Similarly, Iqra is remembered as Noori nowadays. Besides, her performance in Tabeer and Suno Chance received lots of applause and appreciation in the form of awards and positive reviews.
It can be hoped that two will amaze viewers and maintain the same success level that Imran and Sadia have built.
