Recently the Hocane sisters were in the news for all the wrong reasons. The sister duo was invited on a television show where the discussion went on to depression. The Hocane sisters shared their viewpoint that depression has a lot to do with what you are eating, how healthy you are eating, and other things. However, the social media had a field day and they started trolling the sisters for the comments that they made on the television show. This, however, didn’t go well with Mawra who defended the statements that were made by them during the television show.
The Hocane sisters had said that we hear people suffering from depression but that is all because of food. The actresses came forward to support her statement saying that if you eat a lot of junk food or processed food or even refined cereals, candies, processed meat, and stuff like that then there are chances that you will be depressed and can suffer from anxiety. The actress shared a screenshot which said that if you eat processed foods and other things you will be depressed. Mawra also shared a screenshot where it was written that your food choices may determine your mental condition.
While there have been a lot of researches on this topic and doctors have advised people not to eat these types of foods, but still, the sisters were being mocked continuously for their statement. The statement during the TV show made by the Hocane sisters are being proved to be true but still, there is a lot of trolling going on for the actresses. Depression is something real and one needs to get out of it in order to live their lives or else with depression there is nothing that you can do to cure it.

You cannot go and say this stuff. Even if you're well-meaning and wanted to warn people about junk food and promote healthy eating.
