There was a time when Pakistan Post was one of the least trusted services in the country. But now things have totally changed around and it is one of the finest institutions of Pakistan. The postal office has seen an overhaul that has improved its performance and has also given relief to the people of Pakistan as well. It now looks like that improvement in Pakistan’s Postal service is not stopping here as the decision has been made to install ATM machines in all post offices across the country in the coming months. The announcement of the decision was made by Dr. Naseer Ahmed Khan, DG Pakistan Postal Service.
The DG was speaking at the ceremony hosted to distribute motorcycles to postmen, he said that the installation of ATMs was to cater to the modern need. He said that the institute is taking steps in order to revamp the postal services and have all the latest technology and requirements in the postal offices and ATM is one of them. People who come to postal offices will now have the ease to take out cash from ATMs within the offices making it a secure place for them to do any cash transactions.
The Pakistan postal office has witnessed a change over the last year or so as there was a record increase in revenues in the FY 2018-19. Apart from this, the postal office has started Express Mail Service through which you can get your things delivered to 150 countries in just three days that too at nominal prices. The postal office is also providing more and more motorcycles to the postmen and will continue to do so in the future as well in order to make sure that the postmen are able to deliver all over Pakistan that too with ease.
