Amid the rumors and advices of resignation, the skipper of Pakistan Cricket T20 team has asked for apology from the whole nation over poor performance of the side in ICC World T20 2016.
In a video message on Facebook, he told his fans that he is not conferenced about what others are saying about him, he is all just concerned about them.

Here it should be kept mentioned that Pakistan cricket team lost 3 out of 4 matches in the WQorld T20 2016 journey, the 1 match which they won was against minnows Bangladesh. Rather than that they were not able to give tough time to any other side in their group for ICC World T20 2016.
After all this Afridi was criticized for his poor performance and captaincy, the buzz about Afridi’s retirement from cricket was all over but the Pakistani skipper negated sch rumors and said he will be taking any decision after consultation with my well wishers and mentors.
He returned back to Pakistan on Monday, after gap of around several days, many were expecting that Afridi too will get the hostile reception as other players of the team got, but Afridi was a given a champion reception. His fans and followers received him while holding pro-Afridi charts and also chanted ‘Afridi Afridi’.
