PM Imran Khan “Pakistan Citizen Portal” Official App Complain Guide


After being elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan, one initiative that Imran Khan took was to launch an official complain app called “Pakistan Citizen Portal”. The main purpose of the app is to connect the people with the Prime Minister directly. All the complaints and suggestions will go to the Prime Minister office which will then process the requests and suggestions.  Imran Khan said that the app is the first step towards improving governance in the country. But the question is how one can use the app? We will now take you through the process so that you can use the app to connect with PM house.


The process to Use Pakistan Citizen Portal

Registration Process

The first thing you need to do is to:

  1. Download the app from the Play Store. by Click
  2. After Downloading App
  3. You will have to register yourself on the app
  4. Provide your mobile number for verification purpose after which enter your details which include full name, gender, and date of birth.
  5. After this step, you need to create your username and password to log in to the app as a registered user.
  6. Provide your CNIC number, province, and district to complete the registration process.

When you are on the homepage, you will see different options like total complaints, resolved complaints, in-process complaints, and others. This is a tracker of your overall complaints. You can also give feedback regarding these complaints. To lodge a new complaint simple tap the + icon after which select the department to which the complaint pertains.


Once you are done selecting the department, you can lodge your complaint after which work on it will start. Once the problem is resolved, the complaint will automatically move into the resolved complaints folder. Before that, it will remain in the in-progress complaints folder.

    Respected Prime Minister!
    My brother is a professional hard ball player. He left his studies to persue his profession in cricket He sacrificed every thing for cricket. He went to the trials every place that he heard of or someone told him about. Some bigger mentions are the talent hunt program organized at diamond cricket stadium but it was a totally pre planned media stunt just to show the trials were fair but the players were already selected. He wasn’t even given a fair shot at trials. Same thing happened at Lahore Qalandars trials. I can go on. And the main thing now is that trials for U19 cricket for regions are being organized at Rawalpindi stadium and for which invitations are sent God knows on what criteria. They said only players that have played U19 cricket for districts or domestics can give the trials. My brother played in U19 district and but he got injured in first match so he couldn’t play the other match. But he played for senior district and gave phenominal performance and they won the tournament. Now they haven’t invited him for trials. I just want fair trials for him nothing else. It is my last try after this i will bring this matter to the court. Because i know he has abilties. He is just 18 and can bowl 135+kph and i want a fair trial.

    Complaint Code # FC030219-1317419 – My complaint was lodge on 7th July 2020, subsequently I received a call on 19th July 2020 from Mr. Nadeem representative Pakistan Embassy, Doha – Qatar, requesting to submit invoices (dated June 2019) for which complaint was submitted, immediate appropriate action was taken.
    It is noteworthy to state my grievances in respect to invoices pending since June 2019,
    In order to resolve the issue in question, I had to carry out several visit to Pakistan Embassy in Qatar, however it transpires that accountant was in a habit to kill others time by making false excuses, viz., we are busy in shifting our office to new location, than he started demanding that I should forward what’s app messages, that exercise too I started, despite that no response, side by side I started forwarding email(s) with copies of What’s App messages, reminders etc., etc., in absence of any fruitful response, finally decided to lodge a complaint via citizen portal, which is an effective tool designed for all, especially for overseas Pakistani, which really effectively work and swift actions are taken. I need to ask myself, why team members based at Embassy in Qatar, behaved in an unprofessional manner, although in my exchange of correspondence, I was requesting that in case if invoices are misplaced or lost, I have no issue in preparing duplicate and re-submit, however unfortunately he (the accountant) did not responded to my various what’s app message/emails which was exchanged with him. After submitting complaint, which subsequently reached to Ambassador, Pakistani Embassy in Qatar, after couple of days accountant called to enquire re: invoices, I said it has been submitted, and he needs to check with Mr. Nadeem, finally it came to my notice that pending invoices due for payment since last year was handed over to accountant. Although it was a very simple issue, which he was prolonging, and does not want to admit that he lost/misplace invoices. He could have requested pretty long time back that invoices has been lost/misplaced, please re-issue, we could have resolved in amicably manner. In my view, it’s high time to educate team members based at overseas embassy to proactively take actions as and when an issue is raised and resolve in friendly manner, I need to ask myself, if professional are based in Embassy, there is no need to escalated complaints.
    This is to confirm that I have received cheque from Pakistan Embassy in Qatar, which represent toward the value of invoices for year 2019, which will be deposited to our company account, however since there is no column in the portal, wherein I could have added my comments, stating that the matter is resolved and the complaint under code # FC070720-8698706 can be closed, however I have been verbally requested by the accountant to withdraw the complaint, to which I disagree and in my view withdrawing complaint from my end is not the right way. For your information, we decided to cease seven years business relationship with Embassy of Pakistan in Qatar.
    Need to appreciate IK initiative in developing this portal and I am very much delighted that action has been taken in timely manner. Jazakallah Kheir.

    Sir I just wanted you to know that I had called my bank n also sent my son there to Habib bank limited to see why my account was closed spoke to the manager n he sent me the bio metric I had filled it n my daughter in law emailed to to him on the 2nd of feb now I keep calling him but he doesn’t answer my call as my penision comes into my account n it has not been coming into the account frm nov 2019 I do not know how to reach these people as I’m in the USA Indianapolis I’m 60 years of age n I need this money n I can’t come to Khi as I’m a sick person n dr are not allowing me to travel please please respected si help me into this matter I would really appreciate it I’m not a computer person so trying it out for the first time

    I visited the MOFA, Lahore Camp office, for the verification of some documents. Following are my observations:
    a. My first interaction was with the Mr. Shahid PA of DCP, the gentleman was rude, insolent and behaved in a manner NOT suitable for the post.
    b. While lodging a complaint regarding the un-serviceability of the token system, he was aggressive and misbehaved, with words “Go and lodge a complaint nothing will happen”.
    c. Such like individuals bring bad name to the institution and need to be made an example for others.
    Hope necessary punitive actions are taken against the individual and the system is set right for the common man.
